3rd Grade had the first picnic of the year! Mrs Nasi and Miss Rachael joined the class for lunch.

We would like to thank the new owners of the Northwoods General Store & Coffeehouse for the delicious cookies and breakfast burritos they brought to school today in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week! The staff really enjoyed them. We welcome the new owners to our community!

We would like to thank Horace Mann Insurance for the delicious cake they delivered to school earlier this week. It was greatly appreciated!

The 4th grade class visited the JW Toumey Nursery and the Ottawa National Forest Visitor Center to learn about trees on Arbor Day. 🌲🌳










We celebrate Earth Day in art each year by recycling paper, discussing how paper is made, and we learn about litter. Students love to see where our trash goes and have many questions about trash.










The Wakefield-Marenisco School District is currently accepting applications for a driver's education instructor beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. The candidate must be fully certified to teach driver's education to teenage drivers in Michigan.
Interested candidates are asked to submit a letter of interest and their credentials by 3:00 p.m. on May 13th, 2024.
