3rd grade scientists had a fun-filled adventure diving into the world of paleontology! 🦖🦴
Students explored how fossils are formed, what they can tell us about life millions of years ago, and how paleontologists uncover clues from the past. Students then created their own fossils by imprinting shells, leaves, dinosaurs, and dinosaur tracks.

The Wakefield-Marenisco Honor Society is sponsoring a blood drive at the Wakefield Municipal Building on May 6 from 9:00-2:00.

WM had a total of 19 teams ranging from 8th grade to 12th grade attend the third annual Pi day competition held at GCC on April 14. Groups of three competed in a lightning round and challenge round, and there was also an opportunity for individual Pi digit memorization. A few students won gift cards to Kwik Trip during the Hoops for Health activity, and the team "Don't Drink and Derive" won for best name! It was overall a fantastic day!










Kids got to play on the Track field for lunch recess today. Beautiful day!!

Wakefield-Marenisco Chapter of the National Honor Society held their 2026 Induction Ceremony. 11 new members (1 Senior, 1 Junior, and 11 Sophomores) were inducted. Senior members received their graduation stoles.

Great turnout at Saturday’s Pickleball Tournament! 29 teams brought amazing competition and energy.
Thanks to everyone who played, donated, and supported, this event was a big success and helped raise funds for our PE program!










Our Kids Heart Challenge is officially underway, helping students learn lifesaving skills like Hands-Only CPR while raising awareness about heart health.
Join the team, complete Finn’s Mission, and make a real impact in our community.

Due to state testing, there will be no school on Wednesday, April 8th for students in 7th and 12th grades. Students in grades 8 through 11will be dismissed once their testing is completed.
