The Boys Basketball game scheduled for tomorrow night against Baraga has also been canceled due to frigid temps and school cancellation. All athletic practices are canceled for tomorrow as well.
School will not be in session on Tuesday, January 21st due to dangerously cold temperatures.
3rd grade students are learning about different types of fossils. They created their own mold, cast, and trace fossils!

Middle school art students created images on the graphic design site Pixlr. The images are inspired by the concept of Notan. Using Makerspace equipment, we cut and pressed images onto shirts. Weeding the images was surprisingly challenging and the entire process required students to look for patterns in the work process to be efficient and successful.






The JV/Varsity Boys Basketball make up game against Bessemer will be played on 1/2/25 in Bessemer at 5:00/6:30.
The game against Bessemer on 2/14/25 will be played at Wakefield-Marenisco, not Bessemer.
1st and 2nd grade cookie baking and frosting, with the assistance of some of our high school students. Being able to collaborate with different grades is definitely one of the perks of being a close-knit, K-12 school.❤️🧑🏼🍳🍪










Reminder for the W-M Christmas Concerts! JH and HS Band perform at 7:00pm in the gymnasium with a call time of 6:00pm for performers.
4th-6th Grade perform tomorrow afternoon at 12:30pm in the gymnasium with the K-3rd grade performing at 1:45pm also in the gymnasium.

Today was an exciting day in kindergarten.



Friday, myself and the fourth grade students enjoyed the crisp air and fresh snow together, soaking up everything this beautiful season has to offer.
Our snowshoeing and cross country skiing units will begin soon!
