3D Design Art Class Project Spotlight 🛠️🎨 Our students recently updated signage for the Wolverine Nordic Ski Trails as part of a hands-on 3D Design project. Using Makerspace equipment, students learned new techniques while cleaning, sanding, and restoring old signs. They then repainted images or used vinyl and vinyl-cutting technology to complete the designs.
Throughout the project, students faced multiple problem-solving challenges and persevered through each one. We learned a great deal and are incredibly proud of the final results. Thank you to the Wolverine Nordic Ski Trails organization for the opportunity to collaborate on such a meaningful project!

Sixth grade art students are developing sewing skills using Makerspace machines while practicing peer teaching. Each student rotates between the role of lead sewer and assistant, helping classmates learn proper techniques. Using donated materials, these two students created Santa hats, inspired by an original paper pattern designed by Leland. He and Adam worked to together to problem solve throughout the project. This project highlights collaboration, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
