Reminder that tonight is the JH/HS Band Concert in the W-M Gym! The concert begins at 7:00pm, both bands have worked hard to prepare this music for our audience and are doing an exceptional job. We hope you are able to attend!

3rd graders solving Area and Perimeter with Cheez-Its








Our elementary students have been enjoying their monthly visits to the Wakefield Public Library.
This month, the 1st graders had fun playing a “financial literacy” game. Students were split up into groups, and were given a party theme and $100 to spend on party supplies. The groups had to budget as a team and decide what items they could buy for their party.










National Honor Society had their annual Induction Ceremony on Tuesday, April 9th.




3rd grade students worked hard on their Ecosystem Projects!

WM 7-12 graders met with local district schools at GCC for the annual Pi day competition on Tuesday, March 18. There were two junior high teams and 12 high school teams. The competition consisted of lightning round brain teasers, various level math problems, and an optional Pi digit memorization challenge. Congrats to all the teams for making it through a long day of math! Some students even admitted they had fun and look foward to next year!










Junior high and high school students will be taking part in state testing on April 9th and 10th.
April 9th: Students in grades 8, 9, and 10 will be taking PSAT tests. 11th graders will be taking the SAT. All students in grades 8-11 will be dismissed for the remainder of the day once testing is complete.
STUDENTS IN GRADES 7 AND 12 WILL NOT BE ATTENDING SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9th.
April 10th: 11th grade students will be taking the ACT Work Keys test. They will be dismissed for the day once the testing is complete.
It is important that students are on time, nourished, and well rested so they can do their best on the tests.
We will have a 2 hour delay on Monday, March 31st to allow time for storm cleanup.
Over spring break we cleaned and organized all the trophy cases in the gym area. The trophies are now sorted by decade for easier viewing. Cleaning and organizing 100 years worth of trophies took a lot of time and effort, but seeing the many accomplishments of our teams and clubs over the past century made it worth it!
