Mrs. Trevarthen was born in Kenosha Wisconsin and moved to Wakefield Michigan with her family when she was in the third grade. She is a 1982 graduate of Wakefield High School, a 1995 graduate of Gogebic Community College and a 2000 Cum Laude Graduate of Northland College in Ashland, WI, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Management and Leadership. She has been employed by the Wakefield School District since 2002. First as Executive Secretary and in 2004 as the Business Manager for the Wakefield-Marenisco School District. Mrs. Trevarthen resides in Bessemer with her husband and their children.
